Gig reports

Retrobileet @ 45 Special, 22.03.2005, Oulu Finland

A Commodore 64, an 8-bit Nintendo and around 200 nerds. Almost everything you need for a good mid-week bar night!

The long awaited retro themed party was finally happening. Old computer games and a related quiz were set up to entertain the crowd before the main event, Axes Denied live performance.

Atmosphere was great from the start, and it lasted that way until the closing signal. The gig went great and the reception was perhaps the warmest we had gotten so far. People were chanting (and yelling) to the songs and the feeling was just fabulous.

Before and after our gig a group of DJs called Large Computer People played some golden pieces from the past, so all in all the night was a definite success. It's not everyday you see girls dancing to the original Boulder Dash theme!
