Gig reports

Pikku Wappu @ Foxia, 02.11.2004, Oulu Finland

Pikku Wappu was a student party in the heart of Oulu City. The place was Foxia which is the one of the largest venues in our home town. The event was special since it was big and also Machinae Supremacy from Sweden was playing at the same party! The game tunes however were up to us, since nowadays Machinae focuses more on their own material.

We played a hard gig with drunken guys singing Giana Sisters melody and girls jamming with the Bubble Bobble. It was a sad thing though that our groupies were not so hot or sexy: our male gendered friends mostly ;) There was enough time for one encore which happened to be Mr. Hubbard's Commando.

Machinea played in the main stage doing a great show. We were also able to see the gig since we had finished our show in the second stage downstairs before the Machinae started. The night was a blast, but the next morning was hell since we had to go back to the venue and take away our instruments and other gear so early. Way too early after partying 'til the sunset...

Hane's comments: Nearly a thousand drunkards in the house, Machinae Supremacy, Unlimited beer, Megablasted e-string. I must say this was one of the most fun gigs so far! Thanks for the Big Daddy's Fun Club guy for lending the Fender!
